Milepost 10 / 82 is at Findern (by bridge 21)

This is a replacement milepost, unveiled in 1984 by Edwina Currie (the local MP and later very well-known).

The plaque reads :

THIS MILEPOST WAS SPONSORED
BY MEMBERS OF
THE GREYHOUND BOAT CLUB
TO COMMEMORATE THE
FOUNDATION OF THE CLUB
IN NOVEMBER 1983
REPLACED BY THE
TRENT AND MERSEY CANAL SOCIETY
AND UNVEILED BY
EDWINA CURRIE MP
ON SUNDAY 25TH NOVEMBER 1984
